Privacy and Security

This site collects and uses a record of your visit and logs of information for statistical purposes. This may include the user’s IP address, date and time of visit to the site, topics accessed and completed, documents downloaded, previous website visited and type of browser used. This information is analysed to determine the site’s usage statistics and improve the program. No attempt will be made to identify an individual user’s browsing activities except where a law enforcement agency exercises a warrant enforcing us to do so.

This site collects and retains personal information required to register in order to access the learning material. Your personal information will be used to supply a certificate of completion to users who successfully complete assessment, provide participating organisations with lists of staff who have registered and/or completed assessment for the purpose of staff credentialing and/or organisational accreditation. It may also be used to notify you of updates and new learning material produced. Aggregated statistical data which does not contain personal data may be used from time to time to assist in the management and/or evaluation of the eLearning topics. Personal details are stored in a secure server location and will not be used for any purpose other than those stated above. Disclosure of your personal information to third parties will not occur unless your consent is obtained or where disclosure is authorised by law.

You are encouraged to provide feedback and comments on the Research Education and Training Program. These will be used for the purposes of quality assurance and improvement. They may also be used as part of any evaluation process and/or in promotional material.
