The workshop will use a series of workshop-style seminars and exercises to provide theory and practical examples to cover:
- An Introduction to Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) and other patient-reported outcomes (PRO) and their application in research
- Choosing the right PRO instrument to address your research aims (with a special focus on cancer)
- Tips for study design (including timing of PRO assessments and study conduct issues)
- Brief introduction to and considerations for data analysis and interpretation

The workshop is targeted at a broad range of participants including students, epidemiologists, clinicians and public health professionals and consumers. This workshop is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in conducting research with HRQoL endpoints.
